The constituency is, objectively, a sprawling constituency. It is ultimately very rural, although it doesn't feel so rural in Handbridge Park or on the Lache. It spans from Chester City Centre all the way down East to Crewe, Newcastle under Lyme, South to North Shropshire and we border Wales to the West. Tarvin & Kelsall in the North borders Runcorn & Helsby.
